An experience which shouldn't be missed. The Sani Pass road, linking South Africa with the mountain kingdom of Lesotho, provides the most spectacular scenery and an unforgettable drive. Tours are conducted in specialised vehicles with experienced drivers and guides. They will pick you up at Mkomazana for a day trip, including lunch at the highest pub in Africa and a Basotho village tour. Our manageress, Betty Tapp, can also make the reservation on your behalf if you decide to go up whilst you are staying with us. Please note that passports will be required for all.

If you wish to do the trip using your own vehicle, please note the following:
- 4 x 4 vehicle required
- Reasonable fee to be paid at the top of Sani Pass for entrance to Lesotho
- Bring your passport
- Bring your vehicle registration papers
- Please check the latest immigration laws prior to your visit
